Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is confronted by a very angry Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron) in Coronation Street next week.

Griff was the leader of a far-right gang and was also responsible for manipulating Max (Paddy Beaver) to participate. While Max was part of the group, he met Lauren (Cait Fitton), who shared the extremist views because her father Reece was also a member.

As Griff is about to return to Weatherfield Prison, it becomes clear that he also believes Roy killed Lauren – and that he wants revenge.

In a special week of episodes where we finally find out who really killed Lauren, time is running out for Roy – while Griff makes his presence felt.

But at the beginning of the week the focus is on Nathan (Christopher Harper).

In Roy's prison cell, the book he was reading lies soaked in tea, with a broken spine. An accident? Far from it. It's a warning.

When Detective Swain (Vicky Myers) next visits Roy in his cell, she asks him point-blank if his fight with Carla (Alison King) has anything to do with Bobby's (Jack Carroll) statement.

While Bobby is arrested for perverting the course of justice, Nathan is arrested by Kit on suspicion of breaching his sexual harm prevention order.

Just as Swain tells Carla that Bobby's lies aren't helping anyone, Griff enters Roy's prison cell.

Midway through the week, while Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) hopes Bobby's explanation will be enough to exonerate him, Griff orders cellmate Roscoe to lure Roy to the prison library.

Just as Roy returns, he is shocked when confronted with Griff – and he has a knife.

As Griff confronts Roy and demands he reveal where Lauren's body is, DS Swain and Kit interview Nathan, who is represented by Joel (Calum Lill).
