Spider (Martin Hancock) has returned to Coronation Street and it feels like he never left!

Shockingly though, Spider was last seen in 2003 – a lot has happened in Weatherfield and life in general since we last saw him.

Wonder if he’ll find out about the tram crash… and the underworld fire… and the pub fire… sorry, we’re getting carried away.

Spider headed back to the cobblestones tonight when Toyah (Georgia Taylor) decided to spread the word about a garbage incineration protest.

Toyah used the protest to distract herself from her messy life, ignoring Leanne’s (Jane Danson) comments that she really shouldn’t get in trouble again, as she was recently charged with Imran’s murder.

When Spider got into the garbage truck, Toyah smiled for the first time in ages, shocked but also excited to see her boyfriend again.

In Victoria Gardens, Spider and Toyah told each other about their lives.

Toyah needed the company and was happy to invite Spider to stay in the flat for a few nights.

When Kelly (Millie Gibson) arrived at the flat, she interrupted Toyah and Spider’s cuddling, assuming her former foster parent had already moved on after Imran.

Of course Kelly, Asha (Tanisha Gorey) and Nina (Mollie Gallagher) have no idea about the history of Toyah and Spider together, but once the gossip starts to spread, there will no doubt be more people forming negative opinions about Toyah killing her ex-boyfriend. in her welcome home.

While Toyah was in the shower, Spider called his friend to confirm their plan was back on track.

So, what is he up to?

Spider’s facial expression suggested he was looking forward to the plan – could it have to do with his eco-warrior background?
