Coronation Street stars baffled by Tina O’Brien’s real age | Soaps

Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien has taken to Instagram to share a selection of new headshots and surprised several of her co-stars by revealing her age.

“I’m turning 40 this year,” the Sarah Platt actress wrote with the post, “decided it was time to update my seriously outdated Spotlight portraits.”

Her co-stars Corrie were stunned by the photos, featuring Jane Dansonwho plays Leanne Battersbyinspired to recreate her own portrait shots.

“Absolutely beautiful T.” She wrote. ‘Maybe it’s time I did mine! I’m 45 this year and mine is a 23 year old me in black and white,” she joked, adding a laughing emoji.

Former Corrie stars were baffled by Tina’s age, with Eva Price actress Catherine Tyldesley saying, ‘Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!!”

Brooke Vincent, known for her role as Sophie Webster, said, “Still look 21,” with a heart-eyed emoji.

Georgia Taylor (Toyah Habeeb), Julia Goulding (Shona Platt) and Hollyoaks star Nikki Sanderson (Maxine Minniver) all also gave some love to the photos, calling the actress “beautiful” and “gorgeous.”

The actress played Sarah Platt on the ITV soap opera since 1999, and fans were quick to agree that she doesn’t look much older than when she first hit the screen.

“Yet you haven’t aged an ounce!!” A fan noticed. “I looked at Corrie last night and said to my mom, ‘Sarah isn’t fucking getting older!!'”

“Is there any danger that at some point you will even come close to your age orrrrr??? Lol Beautiful as always,’ said another.

Tina is currently very busy on the cobblestones, while Sarah is currently trying to avoid the advances of dodgy drug dealer Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths).

The pair met at a hotel after Sarah and husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) fell out, and became very close very quickly.

However, Sarah’s conscience took over before it went too far, and she soon realized that the man she almost slept with was the same man who was terrorizing brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).

Since, Damon is determined to get Sarah into bedwith the promise that he will succeed for his mother’s birthday in June.

Will Sarah succumb to his charms, or will she stand firm?
