A COUPLE has been brutally beaten down for their OTT gender reveal party involving the use of a huge balloon bomb indoors.
Prior to their big day, the Spanish-speaking couple took it up TikTok to share the news, but quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons.

Since it was uploaded on social media, the video has created quite a storm, racking up a whopping 25.4 million views Instagram only.
The clip is believed to have been shared online by one of the guests, TikTok user Laura Salcedo (@laurasalcedo66).
At the beginning of the video, Laura filmed the two parents-to-be, who both appeared to be happy.
But what made the young mother-to-be a little nervous was the huge balloon bomb hanging in the middle of the room.
While enthusiastic guests were counting down, the flame on the string made its way to the black balloon that was filled with confetti.
Then, with a loud bang and a burst of flame, the balloon finally exploded and the video ended, with no one to tell if it was going to be a girl or a boy.
According to Laura, who was sitting right in front of the decoration, no one was injured.
But despite this, social media users quickly slammed the pair, claiming that not a single person in the room was blessed with common sense.
One of them said, “At least my common sense would have said, ‘I don’t think we should be doing this in the house.'”
A second chuckled, “Now we don’t know the gender AND we don’t have eyebrows.”

“It’s not a boy or a girl, it’s a dragon,” someone else chuckled.
“So what does she have? Human Torch?” added another.
“So not a single person in the room had any reservations about this,” one viewer was stunned.

Determined to put a little twist on his gender reveal party, a man, presumably from Australiathought it would be a good idea to prank the expectant mother.
Ready with a camera, one of the guests, who is on post TikTok under the username @Dad was herefilmed the event – and things escalated pretty quickly.
In the videowhich has since gone viral, the man could be seen holding a black balloon with loads of confetti in it.
But when the duo, the woman and the man, got together for the big reveal, the father suddenly accidentally released the black balloon.
Naturally, everyone is shocked and screams in sheer horror.
But one person was particularly upset – the man’s partner.
In disbelief, she immediately ran away saying, “Oh my God! Here’s what I mean – he’s fucking stupid!”
Shocked, she shook her head, didn’t smile, then added, “This is what I mean – he’s so stupid…”
However, the man then pointed to something – the real balloon they had to pop and immediately the woman started to smile.
After much laughter, a kiss and a countdown, she popped the balloon and the two found out they were going to be parents to a baby girl.
But as adorable as this moment was, people on social media couldn’t help but notice the woman’s initial reaction, which some described as a red flag.
An aggrieved viewer wished the man the best in the future: “Good luck with her.”
Another concurred, writing: ””This is what I mean”. So she’s been talking about it for a while. Good luck.”
“She walked back giggling like I didn’t just laugh at my husband ahhahahahhaha,” someone else added.
