Judge Inyang Ekwo of the Federal Supreme Court in Abuja today, July 1, ordered the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and two commercial banks to disclose the information of David Nwamini, to former Deputy Senate President Ike. . Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.

The Equatorial Madus is being held by British authorities over allegations of conspiracy to bring a child to Britain for organ harvesting with Nwamini allegedly the victim. Following their arrest by the London Metropolitan Police, the suspect appeared before a British court which ordered them to remain in custody until July 7 while investigations into the allegations against them continue.

Although the Met police said Nwamini is 15, the NIS said they had issued an international passport indicating his age as 21 after proper process.

In an attempt to clear his clients of the allegations, the Equatorial Madus, through their lawyer, Adegboyega Awomolo, approached the court in Abuja to request an order directing the NIMC to obtain the Certified True Copy of the Biodata from David Ukpo Nwamini to produce.

Awomolo has asked the court to submit Nwamini’s national identification number (NIN), which is owned by the NIMC, for the purpose of facilitating the criminal investigation and tendering the same to establish his client’s innocence.

He requested that the inspector general of NIS be instructed to provide his clients with the documents and application form that Nwamini had submitted to obtain his international passport, with the aim of assisting the criminal investigation and the same before the Uxbridge to submit to Magistrate’s Court in the UK.

The SAN also asked the court for an order ordering Stanbic IBTC Bank and UBA to provide the Certified True Copy of Nwamini’s mandate card and account opening package in their custody.
