MANCHESTER UNITED ace Cristiano Ronaldo was offered to AC Milan in a late summer transfer, according to reports.
Five times Ballon d’Oro winner Ronaldo37, shared his desire to leave Old Trafford after United not eligible for the Champions League last period.
Instead United had to settle for sixth place and… Europa League american football.
Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has had talks with a number of Champions League top clubs.
But no one decided to make an official move for the 816-goal man.
However, it has been revealed that the Serie A champions AC Milan Ronaldo later offered by Mendes, journalist Gianluca di Marzio reports via mbn.com.
Mendes had desperately tried to move Ronaldo’s compatriot Rafael Leao to Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea so that there would be room for the football icon at the San Siro.
Portugal international Leao, 23, has remained in place after scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in Milan’s title-winning campaign last season.
With Ronaldo stranded at United, and in the final year of his contract, he usually had to settle for watching most games from the bench until he was called up.
Ronaldo has only started three times for United this season, including two in the Europa League against Real Sociedad and the Moldovan Sheriff.

His only goal of the season came in the away game at Sheriff, a goal from the penalty spot.
And Ronaldo’s dip in form has even caused Portugal fans to call for their captain to sit on the bench, despite being in a World Cup year.
The 2022 tournament in Qatar later this year is expected to be his last World Cup.
