London Fire Brigade confirmed a total of 15 fire engines and about 100 crew members were called in to respond to an incident on Freshwater Road.
The capital’s fire brigade accompanied an initial update map that seemed to suggest personnel had been called to an incident near the city’s Heath Park industrial estate.
An update from the London Fire Brigade revealed that the fire broke out in a two-storey warehouse.
The fire brigade arrived on the spot after dozens of reports about the fire.
Fire crews from Ilford, Romford, Hornchurch, Barking and other nearby fire stations are also on site.
However, the cause of the fire is not yet known.
