Dating series for virgins has been labeled the 'most dystopian' reality show yet

Just a few weeks later Milf Manor returned to our screens A new dating show has been announced for a second season that may be even more unhinged.

TV bosses are reportedly casting for a new Hulu series called Virgin Island, which will follow a group of – you guessed it – virgins as they try to find 'the one' in paradise.

According to several American media, this is a 'stunningly attractive and confident' group of singles will have 10 episodes to find a love matchas we go on dates, engage in romantic activities, and enjoy adventures together – in and out of the bedroom.

Not surprising, viewers can expect many in-depth conversations'flirty encounters' and unpredictable 'drama'.

The summary, via Varietypromises that “as the cast finds genuine connections and explores their various reasons for waiting, there will be plenty of unexpected twists.”

All this will 'culminate in a dramatic finale in which budding relationships are put to the test'.

It's unclear when the show will air or even start filming, but applications are currently open for celibate singles who want to inhabit Virgin Island.

TV fans were baffled by the dating show's premise and flocked to social media to unpack the announcement.

On Twitter, Pebbles fumed: “FFS, the last thing we need is another dating show where pathetic and desperate men and women embarrass themselves on national television.”

Josh Axelrod agreed: “…That is the most dystopian reality TV slogan of all time. Maybe it was a bad idea to move images on a screen after all.'

RG3 joked, “This sounds like a 30 Rock joke.”

While Jenn Nixon had a logistical idea for producers, simply adding, “How are they going to control that? [sic].'

If you need something else to fill the void until Virgin Island premieres, Love Island USA returns for a sixth season – and some big changes.

A new group of participants will look for love in sunny Fiji, together with new presenter Ariana Madix.

After Modern Family icon Sarah Hyland had to withdraw from her presenting duties due to scheduling conflicts, the Vanderpump Rules favorite took her place.

She will swap Something About Her for the infamous villa when Love Island kicks off on June 11, with Iain Stirling back as narrator.

As if that wasn't enough, Love Island UK will return for season 11 on June 3, with Maya Jama guaranteeing they'll 'take the spotlight'.

It's officially the summer of love!
