Four more quarterfinals are scheduled for Wednesday, when two Americans play on Center Court. Two-time Grand Slam champion Simona Halep takes on United States 20th-seeded Amanda Anisimova in the first game of the day at Center Court. Halep won the Wimbledon title in 2019.
Rafael Nadal then takes on Taylor Fritz. The 11th-seeded American defeated Nadal in this year’s Indian Wells final. The second-seeded Nadal is a grand slam halfway through a calendar year. At Court No 1, two Australians are in action. Ajla Tomljanovic takes on Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan before Nick Kyrgios plays Cristian Garin from Chile.
In mixed doubles, American Coco Gauff and Jack Sock will play a semifinal against Australian duo Samantha Stosur and Matthew Ebden.
