Deborah James’ latest compliment: The Bowelbabe Fund goes through £ 7m, as the stars say “inspiring” and “Dame’s work” save many lives.

“Deborah James saved my life”

DAME Deborah James has inspired millions of people.

Through her tireless bowel cancer campaign, Sun’s writers were on a mission to make everyone aware of the signs and symptoms.

A woman revealed on television how Debs saved her life after seeing her two mothers talking about a danger signal for illness.

Teresa Whitfield has been diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer and acknowledges Debs for being the reason she is still alive today.

Early diagnosis is key to cancer. This gives the patient the best shot to receive treatment.

Whitfield is currently cancer-free and was asked what to say to Deborah’s family today in response to the tragic news of her death.

“Actually, I think there is only one word, thank you.

“Without her, I don’t think I’m here today. Her campaign is important and we have the potential for colorectal cancer, as colorectal cancer patients, as colorectal cancer survivors, and as colorectal cancer survivors. As someone who thinks there is, she has a legacy.

“We must continue the campaign to raise awareness,” she told the BBC Radio 4 Today program.
