Do you want Boris to return as Prime Minister and ban the Truss/Sunak rule? Give your opinion | Politics | News

Voting opens next week, giving Converstaive members across the country the chance to choose either or Liz Truss as the next party leader – and in turn the next prime minister.

But with more than 10,000 people signing a petition to keep Mr Johnson in Downing Street, it appears members are in conflict.

David Campbell Bannerman, a former Tory MEP who started the petition, said getting rid of Mr Johnson would “guarantee a Labor victory” in the next election, writing in the petition that “Members are very upset about what happened to our elected leader”.

So, is it time for Boris Johnson to step aside or should he be allowed to compete in the Tory leadership match against Ms. Truss and Mr. Sunak?
