Crypto analytics firm Arkham recently revealed that the former US president held $10 million worth of cryptocurrencies. One X user mentioned that the former president also owns Ripple's XRP token. X user 'Matzo XRP' shared a screenshot of a crypto wallet called 'TrumpProductions'. The user claims that the wallet belongs to the former US president. The wallet was activated on Sunday, May 26 with an initial balance of 33 XRP.

Does Donald Trump really own Ripple's XRP token?
Although the wallet may be called 'TrumpProductions', this is not proof that it is owned by Donald Trump. Moreover, wallet names are freely chosen by users, and this specific wallet can belong to anyone.
Nevertheless, Trump recently made headlines after revealing that he would accept crypto as donations to his presidential campaign. The campaign donation page said we are “Ready to embrace new technologies that will make America great again.” Furthermore, Trump also declared himself as “cryptos candidate” during an event at Mar-a-Lago. Some of the accepted assets include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Stablecoin, Ripple's XRP, Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

The presidential candidate stated: 'If it doesn't work, I'll make sure it does. Can we donate to the Trump campaign using crypto? I believe the answer is yes.'
Additionally, Trump added, “If you like crypto in any form, and it comes in many different forms, if you are in favor of crypto, you better vote for Trump.'
Trump has been very vocal about his support for crypto users and investors. Moreover, he accused Biden and Senator Elizabeth Warren of one “anti-cryptocurrency army”. According to Arkham, Trump owns $7.3 million worth of TRUMP, which was given to him by the creators of the project. The remaining $2.7 million could be Ethereum (ETH) from its NFT (non-fungible token) collection.
Nevertheless, it remains to be seen how many donations will come in the form of crypto.
