Le Net attacked on the final categorized climb of the day after the trio safely navigated a tricky descent 21km from the finish, with Vos’ main sprint rivals Lorena Wiebes (DSM) and Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx) both crashing . Kopecky eventually chased the pack, finishing third behind Marta Bastianelli (UAE Team ADQ).

βI kind of stopped skiing because I couldn’t go down anymore, so I only managed to turn my head around it a year or two ago,β Henderson admitted. βIt’s really something you have to practice and have faith in. I don’t like the descents or attack them, it’s really not my thing. There was a bit of luck that I actually stayed up because I went in a little too hot, but it was a good day. β
