DONALD CERRONE retired emotionally from mixed martial arts after his defeat to Jim Miller.
Fan favorite Cerrone, 39, went into the worst run of his career in his UFC 276 preliminary showdown with fellow veterinarian Miller.

Cowboy has lost five of his last six outings before his Sin City battle with Miller, which he lost by a second-round submission to a guillotine choking.
And after the fight, the future UFC Hall of Famer put on his gloves and hat to mark the end of his legendary career.
He told UFC commentator Joe Rogan: “Thank you, Las Vegas. I’m glad my boys should be here, here they come now.
“I’m not crazy about it anymore, Joe. It’s hard for me to stand up. [and train].
“This is the longest camp I’ve had in a long time. I’m not complaining or anything, mate.
“But I just don’t love it anymore.
“I’m going to be a movie star, honey. So it’s time to bend.
Cerrone at one point had the most wins in UFC history – a record now held by Miller.
And the beloved goal scorer hopes his contributions to the sport will earn him a spot in the UFC Hall of Famer
He said: “I need to know [when to call it day]. It was the perfect opportunity.
Sold out crowd, Las Vegas. To talk to you, have my boys here.
“One hell of a career and hopefully one day I’ll be in the Hall of Fame.”

Cerrone has made the step to the cage an almighty 54 times in his mixed martial arts career.
The Denver Destroyer recorded 36 wins, with ten of them coming through KO.
