Driver convicted of throwing feces at LASTMA Official

A bus driver who stripped naked and threw feces at officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority to prevent the seizure of his vehicle has been jailed by a magistrate.

LASTMA spokesman, Olumide Filade, announced that the suspect, who was arrested and brought before the court on July 4, was in police custody until August 2022.

Filade said;

“The driver was brought before a magistrate, where he was asked to be detained at the Potoki Custodial Center until August, when his case would be brought up again.

“This just goes to show that the law will not spare any violator, no matter how unruly you are. The only thing LASTMA is advocating is voluntary compliance.”
