A DRIVER has shared a trick on social media to avoid parking fines, but not everyone is convinced it works.
The video was uploaded to TikTok by @hustla.official and has been viewed thousands of times in just one day.
The car owner shows how he sticks an old ticket on his car to prevent him from being fined again for illegal parking.
He then says that the trick has worked for him several times.
He believes this technique will confuse traffic controllers – but some will too TikTok users think differently.
One person said, “I tried that, but got fined anyway.”
Another man revealed that he tried this several times and they hit him with another ticket.
Another commented, “My council is so broke they’ll still keep giving you tickets.”
