A spokesperson for Eamonn and Ruth confirmed on May 25 that they are 'divorcing' after 27 years together and 14 years of marriage.

While their split is believed to be 'amicable' to the public, sources claim their careers have played a role and taken them in different directions. It is said that after leaving This Morning in 2021 after 15 years their relationship began to deteriorate. Ruth continued to work with ITV on Loose Women, while Eamonn moved to GB News.

Furthermore, the couple, who share son Jack, 22, are believed to have been living separate lives for some time before going public with the news of their split.
