Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is a woman who knows how to get what she wants – and what she wants EastEnders is now ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon).

In the coming scenes, Cindy and George work together as a daughter Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) is robbedas they beg her to go to the police, although she refuses.

“Cindy is quite delusional, so she builds a little scenario in her head where she and George are a perfect team,” explains actress Michelle Collins.
'I think she has genuine love for George, but how much that has to do with their girls, I don't know. What I do know is that Cindy doesn't like being rejected and one of the things that makes George so interesting is that she is not his world anymore.
“There's a part of her that desperately wants George, but also knows she might not have him.”
However, they are soon interrupted by Anna's arrival, and she is shocked to see them drinking together.
Once Anna is gone, Cindy tries to lure George back in, though he quickly lets her out – unaware that son Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) is watching from the shadows…
Undeterred by the previous night's efforts, Cindy remains on a mission to get her hands on George, and soon arranges a family dinner and movie night for him and the girls – and Elaine quickly offers up the Vic for the occasion -living room.
“When things aren't going well for Cindy, she goes back to the past and what life could have been – like she does with George and Spain. But in the end, life in Spain was not so rosy.
'It's like each of us is reminiscing, it's only about the good things. Cindy thinks everything will be fine when she gets back to George. She's really emotional about it.
