The fate of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) remains a mystery in EastEnders after being attacked by a group of prison inmates who had previously vowed to kill him.
The legendary Soap Hardman, as viewers know, is currently suffering behind the bar due to his role in the demise of Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood).
His presence in prison was hostile to Craig Erskine (Connor Mills). He made it very clear that he intends to end him completely.
Phil intended to betray his enemies, hoping to secure protection from fellow prisoner Ravi Grati (Aaron Tiara), who would soon regularly attend the show, but Ravi was sent lonely. At that time his plan failed.
After that, DI Kible (Alison Newman) visited Phil. As long as Erskine was allowed to roam freely, he knew he was at risk, so she reiterated that she could reach out to help only if Phil accepted the deal. I did.
Earlier this week, the detective handed Phil a burner phone with pre-written text that was sent when the user pressed the “3” key.
Of course, activating this text will allow Phil to agree to Kible’s deal and secure his freedom in exchange for becoming an informant.
But Phil made it clear that he wouldn’t be a “grass,” so he’s going to fight. Cat Slater (Jesse Wallace) abandoned him, so he asked Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) to visit him.
Sharon was horrified to find out about Phil’s plight, and after proclaiming his timeless love, he was dragged out by the guards and instructed him to fight for his life.
Phil returned to his cell, saw a picture of his mother Peggy (Barbara Windsor), prepared for his death, and asked her to “wait for him” when the time came.
Erskine and his fellow gang members entered Phil’s cell and attacked him as the soap’s signature Douf Douf theme song rang.
Is this really the end of Phil?
