Alfie Moon (Shane Richie)’s grand plan to win back Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) in EastEnders is thrown into even more trouble in the coming episodes when a romantic gesture backfires.
Although Kat still finds Alfie’s cheeky chappie persona very charming and often notices that she smiles when he is around, she is much more careful with him.
His unreliability was recently underlined when he took the boys for a day out to a ‘museum’, only to reveal that he had taken them to a theme park instead. Perhaps more fun for the boys, but it didn’t hurt Kat to believe that Alfie can be trusted.
He knows he has something to make up for, so he enlists the help of Freddie (Bobby Brazier) to create an extravagant flower show for Kat.
She is initially impressed, but when she discovers where the flowers come from, her mood changes.
It looks like Alfie screwed up again, and he apologizes and tells her that her friendship is the most important thing to him.
Kat agrees to join him for drinks at the Vic. Did he save the situation?
