Corrie fans have been left flabbergasted after seeing an ITV soap star in a very different role.
Jordan Ford Silver played Jon Spear in the soap, which was introduced after Emma Brooker and Faye Windass accidentally performed a hit and run on his grandfather Ted.
Although the girls checked that Ted was okay and took him home, he was later found dead, while Faye and Emma desperately covered their tracks.
Finally, Jon and Emma fell for each other after meeting at the funeral.
Emma had to confess, although Jon forgave her for the incident and the couple left to start a new life in Australia together, leaving the cobblestones behind after Emma star Alexandra Mardell retired for good.
But now fans have spotted Jordan in an entirely different role.
He is the star of a new Shell ad, in which he plays an energy industry worker, wearing a safety jacket and red work gloves.
take to reddit to share their thoughts, one fan wrote: “He may have left with Emma to open a bar in Australia but it seems his plans have changed.
“Jon can now fit up to 50,000 charging points on the street by 2025 according to Shell’s new advertisement!”
Another giggled: “I saw that a few weeks ago, looks like Australia broke through and Emma just lives with Angela Griffin now.”
