AMY Mitchell and Denzel Danes grow closer and despite their difficult first meeting, romance could be at play.
However, Jack Branning’s protective streak will appear next week in EastEnders.
Police officer Jack, played by Scott Maslenwill take a stand, annoyed to see his teenage daughter Amy (played by Ellie Dadd) finds herself a potential love interest.
It all starts next week when Nugget Gulati, who needs money for a school trip, gets an idea to get the money from Amy – but the teens argue and the plan backfires.
The situation seems to escalate and, soon, Jack and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) go to Ravi Gulati and claim that they all have to go to school because their children have gotten into trouble.
All three men arrive and begin bickering while defending their children, until a teacher calls everyone to the office and demands to know what happened.

Despite apparent tensions between the fathers, Amy and Denzel make the most of their bond in the Square.
In later scenes, market trader Martin Fowler (James bye) even sees them holding hands – and immediately reports to an annoyed Jack.
It becomes clear that he is upset to find out that his daughter has been alone with Denzel, but they assure him that they were just getting ready for Nugget’s birthday.
But Jack doesn’t want to hear about it and shocks his wife Denise Fox (Diane Parish), his sister-in-law Kim (Tameka Empson) and Howie when he becomes overprotective.
Would Jack be right in his response?
While some may be excited to see a new love connection form, others BBC One viewers may remember that Amy once endanger oneself to impress Denzel.
The youngster even went as far as taking drugs in previous scenes of the long-running soap.
This led to her collapsing on the streets of Walford just as Denise was searching for the drugs she had previously seized.
