EastEnders spoilers: Phil unites with DI Keeble to destroy Lewis? | soaps

We all knew Phil (Steve McFadden) would want revenge after discovering Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) was raped by Lewis Butler (Aidan O’Callaghan) in EastEnders, but will he resort to getting him behind bars, instead of going the typical Phil and trying to kill him?

It was Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) who told Phil about his son’s assault in a recent episode, but due to his broken relationship with his father, Ben was initially unable to tell Phil the truth and figured that Kathy misunderstood things.

This week, after taking too many drugs and ending up in the hospital, Ben was able to talk to his father about the overdose, but it led Phil to realize that Suki (Balwinder Sopal) left him for dead.

Next week Ben will be going home from the hospital, but Phil sees that there is still a long way to go.

Desperate to help his son, Phil meets Inspector Keeble (Alison Newman) and wonders what she can do with Lewis.

But without any evidence, Keeble cannot arrest Lewis for sexually abusing Ben.

So where is Phil?

Will he try to get Ben to talk to the police, or get revenge on Lewis in some other way?
