EastEnders spoilers: Suki’s agony, huge shock to Phil, Ben left to die | soaps

Ben Mitchell’s (Max Bowden) crisis reaches its worst point yet in next week’s EastEnders, when a drug addiction causes him to collapse.

When Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) is found without a pulse, she fears the worst: is her son dead?

Elsewhere, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) struggles to win back her children; with Kheerat (Jaz Deol) rejecting her once again.

And then a new arrival mixes things up even further…

Monday August 1

Kathy is not impressed that James has stayed the night with Ben and as they discuss plans for later, Kathy reminds Ben that it is Lexi’s dance exam and a family meal afterward. At the Minute Mart, Suki tries to reconcile with Kheerat, but things heat up when they see Ben listening.

Ben tries to give Kheerat some advice, but he makes his feelings clear. After Ben shows up late for Lexi’s exam, he is forced to explain why he was delayed and realizes how hurt she is. Lexi reveals that she misses her old father, causing Ben to snap at her and make her cry.

Exhausted, Ben turns to Tez for drugs, but a concerned Sam sees the trade and tells Ben to pull himself together. Ben goes to a party to look for James, but as he becomes more and more on drugs, James sends him home. Realizing he’s late for Lexi’s dinner party, Ben leaves her an emotional voicemail saying he’s on his way, but he collapses.

Things get even worse for Suki when Kheerat announces he’s renting #41 and he, Vinny and Ash are all moving. Dotty finds herself in the middle, but as Suki ducks to a new low to try to convince her kids to stay, Dotty awkwardly helps pack.

Tensions simmer and Kheerat takes another blow to Suki – buying her out of the companies.

Howie takes a call and later visits Kim, proposing a date night so they can talk. Kim assumes it’s so he can propose and when she runs into Felix, she tells him she’ll gently abandon Howie, it’s too early. However, Kim gets a call – Howie canceled tonight. Howie meets a woman, Delilah, who begs him to tell Kim his secret. Callum tells Jay about his search for a new roommate and persuades him to move in.

tuesday august 2

Lexi is upset when Ben doesn’t show up for her meal and while her family tries to comfort her, Callum and Jay arrive. Lexi plays Ben’s voicemail and they realize something is wrong. Kathy, Callum and Jay race to find him, and their worst fears come true when they find him without a pulse. The paramedics rush him to the hospital, but can they save him?

Zack tells Sharon that Ben has collapsed and Sharon realizes he’s hiding something from her. When Phil returns, Sharon tells him the truth: Sam knew about the drugs and made it happen.

Kheerat is annoyed when Stacey encourages him to settle things with Suki, but he stops the conversation, not wanting Arthur to eavesdrop. Stacey gets the wrong end of the stick and when she sees Arthur upset, she tells Eve to end things with Kheerat. However, Stacey is moved when Kheerat apologizes to Arthur and realizes he ended the conversation while he was listening.

Meanwhile, Suki invites Eve for a drink. Vinny is annoyed when Dotty wonders if moving was the right choice.

Kim tells Denise that she is going to propose to Howie, but as she prepares, Howie arrives.

Wednesday August 3

Sam is tense when Phil ignores her calls and she instructs a guilty Zack not to tell anyone about the drugs. Sam warns Jonah that the dealing must stop.

Phil returns home, but Sam finds himself in hot water when Phil reveals he knows about the drugs.

The Taylors prepare for Avery’s “Nine Night” and send Felix and Finlay off to run errands.

Felix sees Kim and gives her a lipstick they discussed earlier, but Felix panics when he realizes that the money for the groceries was in the bag with the lipstick and Kim threw the bag away.

The brothers desperately search the bins for the bag, but it is too late. Back at the Taylors, Mitch toasts Avery and Felix and Finlay are forced to tell Karen they’ve lost her money.

Elsewhere, Suki receives a letter and doesn’t like what it says. Things get worse when she sees Nina and realizes that Kheerat is pushing her even further out of the family. Desperate, she turns to Vinny for help.

thursday august 4

Sam is furious when he learns it’s Zack’s fault. Phil knows about the drugs and tries to fire him, but Kat gets there first. Feeling guilty, Zack offers to make amends with Sam, but he is shocked. when she instructs him to bring Lewis to her, she must regain Phil’s trust. Zack refuses, but points out that if Phil finds out that Zack knew about the drugs, he’s in big trouble.

Ravi enters the square and immediately angers Stacey when he flirts with her. While talking to Sharon, Phil sees Ravi and has an idea.

Suki prepares to make a business pitch for Ranveer, but tensions rise when he wonders why Kheerat is throwing at her. Suki covers up and says that Kheerat is trying to be independent, but when Ranveer’s son, Ravi, arrives, Ravi pushes Kheerat’s buttons and questions his loyalty to his mother.

The Taylors have recovered from the night before, but their attention turns to Mia when she’s upset and the family can’t afford to take her to an amusement park for her birthday. Finlay feels guilty for losing the money and comes up with an idea.
