Elon Musk quietly welcomed twins with one of the top executives weeks before welcoming a child with Grimes via surrogatecourt documents revealed.
Last November, the 51-year-old Tesla CEO welcomed twins to Shivon Zilis, 36, one of his top executives at his company Neuralink, Insider reported. He now has nine known children.
Musk and Zilis filed a petition in April to change the twins’ names to “have their father’s last name and their mother’s last name as part of their middle name,” it was reported.
The twins were born in November, just weeks before Musk and Claire Boucher, who is acting as Grimes, had their second child via surrogate in December.

Born in Ontario, Canada, Zilis met Musk through OpenAI, the nonprofit artificial intelligence organization Musk co-founded in 2015, Insider reported.
She studied economics and philosophy at Yale, where she also played goalkeeper on the women’s ice hockey team.
In 2015, Zilis was on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the venture capital category and in 2017 had the opportunity to bring her AI expertise to Tesla.
She is currently the director of operations and special projects for Neuralink and has been “whistled as one of the people Musk could hire to run Twitter after his acquisition,” according to Insider.
