Emmerdale bosses have given us a lot of hints leading up to their 50th anniversary episodes, especially regarding the killer storm that will rock the village.
However, this is not the only thing that happens in the village in October…
Producer Jane Hudson has hinted that the events to come will have a long-lasting effect on one character, potentially landing them in jail.
“When we arrive at the end of October it might be the end of our celebrations, but we will end that month with a storyline that is the beginning of a whole new story and one of our characters may be looking forward to spending the rest of their lives in prison,” Jane teased at Metro.co.uk.
But which character will it be? Unfortunately, Jane kept her mouth shut about that.
“I’m not going to tell you anything else about that story, but we’re definitely making sure that when our holiday season ends, it’s just the beginning of a whole new chapter, especially for one of our families.”
With the show bosses silent, it only leads us to speculate who might possible chance of committing a crime?
With Chas and Al’s affair still going strong and Aaron on the brink of returning, could an explosive reveal that one of the Dingle men ends up in jail?
Noah is not long out of prison and with him bonding with Amelia, could he find himself there again? Or will Dan discover the truth and do something he regrets?
Will Sandra finally get caught stealing from the Salon?
Or could it be someone else? We wouldn’t go beyond Emmerdale to send Moses or Johnny on a killing spree.
Whatever happens, we are sure it will be full of twists!
