Amelia is very worried (Daisy Campbell) in the near future Emmerdale episodes in which baby Esther, who is only five months old, falls ill and has to be rushed to the hospital.
Samson (Sam Hall) tends to his daughter when she falls unwell – and he does it reluctantly. We know that Samson only recently started taking an interest in Esther after discovering that Noah (Jack Downham) had a trust fund that he planned to use to support Esther.
Knowing that Noah had some money behind him, Samson manipulated Noah into offering him money to stay away from Amelia and her baby as it is perfectly clear that he has no real interest in his child.
But when Sarah (Katie Hill) notices Esther has a fever, she and Samson panic and call an ambulance. And the baby’s grandpa Dan (Liam Fox) praises Samson’s quick thinking.
Fortunately, Esther recovers, but Noah is upset by the way everyone greets Samson for “saving” her, as he knows that Samson is only interested in Esther for money.
Of course, it isn’t long before Samson arrives to check on his daughter – but the real reason for his visit is to demand more money from Noah to stay out of her life.
Will Noah continue to pay off Samson? And how will Amelia feel when she finds out what’s going on?
