Emmerdale Spoilers: Chas Uses Dying Faith As An Excuse To Sleep With Al | soap

Different people have different ways of coping with suffering, but Chas (Lucy Pargeter) in Emmerdale is about to find a very specific kind of solace – in the arms of Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

Chas is devastated when she and Faith (Sally Dexter) attend a hospital appointment and Faith is told her cancer has spread. After this, Faith makes the decision to stop all treatments, even though Chas begs her to continue with the chemo.

In the wake of this, Chas runs into Al outside the Hop and they share a passionate kiss.

Al and Chas’ relationship has grown steadily since Chas learned her mother’s cancer has returned and she relies on him. But in the coming episodes, they move on as Al allows Chas to use him to escape her troubles.

But will this lead to a full-blown affair? And is it something that will remain a secret for a long time if so?

With Chas’ brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) already feeling the stress over his mother’s illness, he would probably be able to release some tensions of his own by knocking seven bells out of Al if he found out what he and Chas were planning.

And what about Paddy (Dominic Brunt)? Chas is married to one of the nicest, nicest men in town. How could she risk breaking Paddy’s heart?

Oh Chas. This is a very, very risky course of action.
