Emmerdale Fans will enjoy another week of romance and fury as Nicky (Lewis Cope) and Gabby’s (Rosie Bentham) blossoming relationship comes to a head.
Nicky, the nanny who takes care of Kim’s grandson Thomas, barely kept his hands off Gabby since their fling has become a “thing” – and now they plan to make it official.
But don’t expect everyone to wish them a lifetime of happiness…
Nicky and Gabby’s happy news isn’t such a happy time for Kim
Nicky and Gabby finally reveal they’re in a relationship this week, and it leaves Kim (Claire King) seething.
While Bernice and Laurel question them, Kim arrives with discharge papers and fires Nicky on the spot for breach of contract as her grandson’s nanny.
Mary Poppins would never do that.
In his attempt to prove his love is genuine and not a risky affair, Nicky proposes to Gabby on the spot – saying he’s been waiting for the right opportunity and Gabby accepts. Loved up Gabby watches Nicky play with Thomas.
As Kim takes in the domestic scene, things remain frosty between her and Gabby.
And it doesn’t help when Gabby tells her she has to agree to the marriage or she’ll prevent her from getting into Thomas’ life.
We can’t imagine Kim throwing a surprise engagement shower anytime soon.
Alex’s hit and run driver is about to be rattled
Ethan tries to comfort a dazed Charles after a long night of interrogation and is crushed when he realizes Naomi thinks he hit Alex.
At the hospital, Naomi is devastated when an emotional Clare reveals the truth behind Alex’s plan: that he wants his children back.
Oh, and robbing the pharmacy van, while he’s at it.
As for who actually hit Alex, Will finds the damaged vehicle in the shed and Billy is forced to clean.
Later, Dawn is shocked to learn that Billy can’t keep his secret much longer and that he wants to turn himself in.
Shall Billy leaves Emmerdale in the back of a police car?
