There’s bad news for the Dingle family in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale when Faith (Sally Dexter) is called to the hospital to discuss her latest scan results.
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) goes to the appointment with her mother and they are devastated to hear that the cancer has spread. With the chemo that Faith has had so far apparently not doing much to slow the cancer’s progress, she makes the decision that she is going to discontinue treatment.
Despite Chas pleading with her to change her mind, Faith is determined to do things on her own terms, which means no more chemo.
Chas has to reluctantly accept her mother’s decision, but she’s angry at Cain (Jeff Hordley) when he seems indifferent to the news.
While Chas seeks solace in a secret chase with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), Cain is secretly wavering from the news about Faith. Later, he asks Chas for a date, and finally opens up about the traumatic experiences of his childhood and why he found it so hard to forgive his mother.
Will Cain finally help get everything off his chest to let his stubborn, aggressive hats down long enough to have a sincere and honest conversation with his mother?
