Georgia Stanway opened the scoring with a penalty in the 12th minute and England scored five more before half-time.
Beth Mead and Ellen White both scored a brace, while Lauren Hemp also found the net during a stunning half of attacking football.
They took their foot off the gas during the second half but added one more through Alessia Russo and Mead also completed her hat-trick.
England now face a quarter-final next week, here in Brighton, probably against Germany or Spain.
Simon Collings was at the Amex to watch the Lionesses in action…
Mary Earps 6
Had such an easy night in goal she could have set up one of the loungers from Brighton beach to enjoy the game.
Lucy Bronze 8
Just a class up at right back. Came up so many times and was involved in some of the goals. Creates a rapport with Mead.
Millie Bright 6
Really had very little to do as England dominated the entire game and Norway barely had a sniff of the future. Made a significant distance from a corner.
Leah Williamson 6
An easy night job as a central defender for the captain. Got time to play from behind and get her foot on the ball.
Rachel Daly 6
Out shone through Bronze on the other flank, but still had a solid enough game. Made some excellent tackles when Norway tried to threaten wide.
Keira Walsh 7
Kept things neat and tidy in midfield with a quiet performance. Won the ball and provided a platform for those in front of her to thrive.
Georgia Stanway 8
Finished her penalty to get England going and had a good game. Wasn’t a solid starter before the tournament started, but now she is.

Caused an absolute carnage wide, finishing the game with three goals and an assist. Pretty close to a perfect performance from the winger.
Fran Kirby 8
England must be thrilled to have Kirby fit again. Looked as dangerous as a No10 and finished the game with two assists.
Lauren Hemp 9
Like Mead on the other flank, she had a brilliant game. Caused so much trouble with her pace. He scored a goal and an assist, but could have had more.
Ellen White 8
Questions were put to her after England’s opening day victory over Austria. The striker answered them emphatically tonight with a brace.

Alessia Russo (White 57′) 7
Off the bench and grabbed himself a goal with a well taken header. Will hope to start on Friday against Northern Ireland.
Ella Toon (Kirby 57′) 7
A bright cameo from the number 10, who came close to scoring a few times. Looks like a valuable impact player.
Alex Greenwood (Daly 57′) 6
By playing as a left back, rather than at the heart of the defense, and was solid enough. Hit the bar with a long shot.
Chloe Kelly (Hemp 70′) 6
Made some nice runs during a short cameo. Emphasizes the strength of England in depth.
Jill Scott (Stanway 80′) N/A
