EXCLUSIVE: ‘Confusing display of weakness’: House Republicans demand Biden produce oil and gas in America OLASMEDIA TV NEWSThis is what we have for you today:
A group of House Republicans, led by New Mexico delegate Yvette Herrell, sent a letter to President Joe Biden on Tuesday urging him to commit to oil and gas production in the US. They also ask the commander in chief to visit the energy-producing regions of the US and meet Americans who work in the energy industry.
In the letter, first obtained by the Daily Caller, Herrell and 68 House Republicans express concern about Biden over reports he is considering asking Saudi Arabia and other countries to export oil to the US. ago the US produced more oil and natural gas than any other country in the world and that its government is hurting Americans by relying on authoritarian regimes.
“President Biden and the radicals in his administration seem determined to destroy American oil and gas, which have been an essential part of our economy and national security for decades. Now that reality has slapped them in the face and prices have skyrocketed for their reckless policies, President Biden heads hat in hand to Saudi Arabia and foreign opponents like Venezuela to beg for oil. The solution is obvious to anyone not blinded by ideology: Produce oil and gas in America NOW. It’s good for our country and good for the free world,” Herrell told the Daily Caller before sending the letter. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Rep.
