ax Verstappen enjoys a healthy lead of 46 points over Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez in the F1 drivers’ championship ahead of the British Grand Prix.
The 2022 title race swung significantly in favor of the Dutchman after Charles Leclerc’s problems at Ferrari, leaving the Monaco – born rider three points behind Perez as Verstappen’s biggest threat.
George Russell’s long series of top-five finishes left him fourth ahead of Silverstone, nine ahead of Carlos Sainz.
Lewis Hamilton completes the tops almost 100 points from Verstappen while Mercedes looks to make their mark on the Brit’s home race.
