FG declares 11-12 July public holiday on the occasion of Eid Kabir celebration

The federal government has declared July 11 and 12 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid Kabir celebration.

In a released statement, the Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola, who announced this, congratulated all Muslims and Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora on this occasion.

“I call on Muslims to continue to breathe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to also use the period to pray for peace, unity, prosperity and the stability of the country, given the challenges of insecurity we are currently facing,” said Aregbesola

The minister assured that President Buhari’s government is “committed to ensuring the safety of lives and property of all Nigerians, enabling the citizens to lead successful lives, the provision of social investment programs and adequate safety in the schools,” he added. to.
