    The money man himself.

  • Natalie Nunn vs Tommie Lee (Round 2)

Thirty seconds into this round and ponytails are flying everywhere and Nunn takes a few shots to the head.

The referee calls it, we didn’t mind this too much as Tommie Lee hit the canvas as she came out of her corner without throwing any punches.

Not one for the boxing hall of fame this one.

  • Natalie Nunn vs Tommie Lee (Round 1)

Well, there’s no love lost here.

    Hay makers galore.

Natalie Nunn takes a lot of beating while Tommie Lee looks like she’s not sure where she is.

    One-way traffic in this round.

  • Next game ready……

This should be an interesting one, not an exhibition, just two people who don’t like each other.

    Natalie Nunn vs Tommie Lee

    Could be an interesting one.

3 x 2 minute rounds in this one.

  • Ulysses Diaz vs Khalas Karim (Round 4)

Diaz emerges this round and appears to be moving toward his opponent.

Karim’s style is to wait for the attack and catch it with counter combinations.

He manages to score some big hits on Diaz.

Credit to both fighters, they took some big hits.

  • Ulysses Diaz vs Khalas Karim (Round 3)

Both boxers get each other more in the hold in this round.

Diaz takes one big hit and Karim comes back with a combination.

You can see them both feeling the tension of the three rounds as they take big gasps of air.

Ulysses Diaz with the best punch in that round as he catches it with a big uppercut to the chin.

  • Ulysses Diaz vs Khalas Karim (Round 2)

Both fighters try to land big uppercuts.

Karim seems to be getting more of his punches.

Diaz’s face looks like it’s absorbing the tension of those landed punches.

  • Ulysses Diaz vs Khalas Karim (Round 1)

As soon as both fighters get close, they try to unload.

Both throw big punches, most of which don’t land.

Diaz seems to feel that more as he takes in large amounts of air.

  • Next game at the O2 arena…..

4 x 2 minute rounds before the next one.

    Ulysses Diaz vs Khalas Karim

Not much is known about these two, except that Diaz walks in wearing what looks like a balaclava.

  • J’Hon Ingram vs Declan Kenna (Round 3)

Ingram just plays with his opponent for the entire round.

He lands combinations of body shots and they drain Declan Kenna.

    One-way street from 22-year-old J’Hon Ingram.

  • J’Hon Ingram vs Declan Kenna (Round 2)

Ingram has the most trust between the two.

Kenna only seems to send out symbolic jabs that are nowhere near landing.

As Ingram walks towards him, landing body shots and jabs.

  • J’Hon Ingram vs Declan Kenna (Round 1)

    Kenna starts showboating from scratch.

Ingram looks like the more experienced boxer.

In the interviews backstage, Declan promised a knockout here.

    J’Hon Ingram v Declan Kenna

Zepeda lands a punch in the rib area.

Lovejoy gets down on one knee after being caught with a jab earlier.

This one is over, Lovejoy can’t continue, a jab in the ribs puts an end to it.

  • Antonio Zepeda vs. Christopher Lovejoy (Round 2)

Lovejoy is now retired and has the physique of someone who doesn’t do much cardio training anymore.

As he steps forward to try Zepeda, it’s mostly his momentum that carries both fighters in a clinch on the ropes.

Not too much to write home about so far.

  • Antonio Zepeda v Christopher Lovejoy (Round 1)

This one starts out more like an exhibition fight.

Token punches thrown by both fighters.

Zepeda tries to come forward and throw some serious punches.

Not quite up to par with the two previous bouts we’ve seen so far this evening.

  • Next match up…..

    Antonio Zepeda v Christopher Lovejoy

We hope to see another good show here.

For a boxing debut, Hales does well against the more experienced boxer.

Johnson is still looking for big hooks.

Kevin Johnson lands the last punch of the fight and finishes strong.

  • Kevin Johnson vs Mike Hales (Round 2)

You can tell Johnson is out of the Mayweather gym.

    Similarities in attitude and style.

Kevin Johnson seems to step it up a notch this round, but seems to attack and land more.

  • Kevin Johnson vs Mike Hales (Round 1)

Johnson spends the early stages dancing around the ring.

Hales looks back on his jab with combinations.

As Hales closes in, Johnson seems to land quickly to the left.

  • Ready for the next fight…

The weigh-in between these two got a little palatable during the week, as the pair had to be separated.

    Kevin Johnson vs. Mike Hales

No love should be lost between these fighters.

These will be rounds of 3 x 2 minutes.

  • First performance of the evening

With both Sammy-Jo Luxton and Hayley Heather coming from MMA to make the switch to boxing, it was a good step into the fight.

They traded punches during the fight.

Until the last bell, these two boxers went for it.

  • Sammy-Jo Luxton v Hayley Heather (Round 4)

The first fight of the night ends with both boxers on their feet.

You can tell they’re both feeling the pace on this final lap.

    Some tired punches are exchanged.

Luxton continues to box behind her jab which was accurate all along.

  • Sammy-Jo Luxton v Hayley Heather (Round 3)

Hayley Heather really gets out of her corner and gets on the front foot.

Luxton looks like she’s tired, but then gets a second wind as the round goes on.

Quite an even round, although Luxton can improve on the scorecards.

  • Sammy-Jo Luxton vs. Hayley Heather (Round 2)

Luxton seems to be the more experienced of the two boxers.

Hayley Heather is not at all afraid to approach her opponent.

Sammy-Jo has Heather’s nose bloodied with the accuracy of her punches and prods.
