There is a new collaboration between Rocket League and Fortnite that brings the Octane car and a bunch of quests to the battle royale.

Rocket League’s iconic Octane car has started spawning all over the Fortnite island after the recent v22.40 update.

Another Rocket League set was released all the way back in Chapter 2 Season 4, but at the time the Octane was only available in the game’s creative mode.

Now, as part of the High Octane celebration, you can find it in Battle Royale mode, as well as zero build. So let’s see where exactly the Octane spawns and how to complete this week’s quests…

All of Octane’s car locations in Fortnite

You should be able to see Octane cars in multiple areas around the island, but if you don’t feel like exploring, we’ve found all the locations for you.

Here are all 10 Octane car spawn spots in Fortnite:

  • On the racetrack at Chonker’s Speedway
  • In the middle of shining sound
  • In the northern part of Rocky Reels
  • On the west side of Cloudy Condos
  • In the upper part of Chromejam Junction
  • On the track south of Chrome Crossroads
  • In the middle part of Tainted Towers
  • In the northwestern part of Greasy Grove

Even though it seems like a lot, you’re advised to find one of the cars as soon as possible, because once everyone gets their hands on them, the map suddenly becomes a lot more dangerous.

The High Octane party ends on December 3, which means you’ll have plenty of time to complete all the quests and get your hands on some extra free gifts.

How to complete the High Octane quests

To complete the High Octane quests, you’ll need to get behind the wheel and do crazy driving like jumping through the air or doing a backflip.

The Octane car also has a few tricks up its sleeve, such as driving up vertical surfaces so you can climb walls and other barriers with ease.

Let’s see what you need to do to complete all High Octane quests in Fortnite:

  • Fly 100 meters continuously in an Octane (x1)
  • Hit opponents while driving an Octane (x3)
  • Perform a 720 mid-air frontflip or backflip with an Octane (x1)

Completing each of these tasks will reward you with 20,000 XP, so you can earn a total of 60,000 XP if you’re fast and furious.

With Chapter 3 Season 4 coming to an end, there may be a few more missions coming up in Fortnite, as was the case with Skywalker Week and the Pickle Rick special.

Don’t be surprised if it starts snowing on the island soon, though, as Winterfest celebrations are likely to coincide with the launch of Chapter 4 (yes, no season 5 this time.)
