FOUR in ten workers want to change their careers – and work in a green industry to help save the planet.
An opinion poll of 2,000 employees, 38 percent believe they desire a role that doesn't have a negative impact, as in renewable energy, environmental protection and sustainable agriculture.

According to OnePoll.com's research, a quarter of respondents find it difficult to find a job that has a positive impact on the environment.
The average worker believes it will take them four years to make the switch, with research, sustainability and more practical operational roles cited as the three main fields they would likely settle into.
Despite this ambition, 33 percent of employees do not feel sufficiently trained when it comes to their impact on the environment.
Two-thirds claim that their current job does not offer training opportunities for green skills, and half have never received training in this area but would like to.
It also emerged that 68 percent have not yet experienced their 'dream job', but that 66 percent find the impact their role should have on the environment important.
And 51 percent are more concerned about climate change and sustainability compared to a year ago.
