Four police officers were injured in an incident at The Glades Shopping Centre, in South East London, on Friday afternoon.
Metropolitan Police Officers were called in to respond to a disturbance due to a large group of youths behaving anti-socially.
Police said the group refused to disperse.
Five members of the group have been arrested on suspicion of police assault and riot, while a youth was arrested for violating a dispersal order.
Four police officers were injured in the hostile exchange.
Police added that the officers’ injuries were not life-threatening.
The arrested youths were taken to a South London police station and a dispersal order is in place for Bromley town center until 6am Saturday 1 April.
Video footage shared online shows the group walking through the mall prior to the incident.
Two people were caught on film fighting each other as those around them screamed and cheered.
