his weekend, Circuit Paul Ricard will host the first race of a double-header as Formula One on his way to summer vacation.

The French Grand Prix marks the start of the second half of the 2022 calendar, with the season so far offering plenty of excitement and thrills.

Max Verstappen is at the top of the championship and going into the weekend, but Charles Leclerc following on from his dominant victory around Austria two weeks ago with pole at Le Castellet.

Ferrari has ample potential to fully compete for the title if they can fix their reliability issues, and Carlos Sainz will face grid penalties for new parts after his Spielberg fire, while Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes hopes to challenge for race wins in the coming months.
