French News: A ferocious French oath to COUNTEREU allies when a huge army conspiracy is exposed | World | News

In February, a few days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Germany announced that defense spending would surge to more than 2% of economic output. Prime Minister Olaf Scholz argued that “we must invest more in our security to protect freedom and democracy.”

According to NATO statistics, it is estimated that in 2021, only 1.53 percent of Germany’s GDP will be spent on defense.

Since then, some French politicians have blown up this move. They recognize that this is an attempt to overtake France’s military power.

The official Joffrey Borre of the Les Patriots wrote on Twitter:

“Germany is now showing its military ambitions, after using the EU as a foothold and as a tool to undermine France.”

He argued that France “must urgently counter this project and maintain our number one position in defense.”

Mr. Bole and others seem to have a special problem with Mr. Scholz’s claim that Germany owns the largest army in Europe.

The Prime Minister told the German Parliament last week that the country should boast the “largest conventional army” of any NATO member in Europe.

I added that this can protect “every corner of NATO’s territory” if necessary.

From Germany’s point of view, Philip argued that France “should stop Brexit and its naive attitude.”

However, Researcher Alexander Brillkov suggested that these numbers may not really need to be so worried.

He writes at the Royal United Services Institute that Germany’s “bold rhetoric” is currently facing “serious and practical obstacles.”

Besides money, one of Schortz’s biggest obstacles, he said, is “the political culture surrounding Germany’s defense and strategy.”

Mr Brillkov added that the prime minister’s commitment to defending € 100 billion is “noble” and may not be able to overcome “political conflicts.”
