Djokovic stood in the crowd watching Rafael Nadal was defeated by Alexander Zverev on Monday, and the world number one now gets the chance to take center stage in the night session against Pierre-Hugues Herbert.

Earlier in the day, second seed Sabalenka, perhaps the biggest threat to Iga Swiatek's hopes of a third consecutive Roland Garros title, faces Erika Andreeva, while Elena Rybakina faces Greet Minnen.
