Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady ‘both hire divorce lawyers’ ahead of split – reports

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her husband, Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s quarterback Tom Brady, have each hired divorce attorneys in the US, according to reports.

Abloid reports over the past few weeks said the two split up after an argument.

The reason for the dispute is unknown, but Bundchen is reportedly partially upset over Brady’s decision to waive his retirement and return to the NFL for a 23rd season.

In an interview with Elle magazine published last month, she sounded disappointed with his decision to play.

“Of course I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I wish he was more present,” Bundchen said.

“I’ve certainly had those conversations with him over and over again. But in the end I feel like everyone should make a decision that works for (them). He should also follow his joy.”

Bundchen (42) and Brady (45) have two children – son Benjamin (12) and daughter Vivian (9). Brady has a 15-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship.

A divorce would involve a division of millions of dollars in assets for the couple, who married in February 2009. Page Six reported that they have a $26 million real estate portfolio.

Brady landed at number 9 on Forbes‘ 2022 list of highest paid athletes, with publication pegged to his annual salary at $83.9 million – $52 million of that in notes. When he retires, he will have a job as the No. 1 football analyst at FOX Sports, where he has signed a 10-year $375 million contract.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates the fortune of Bundchen, a model and entrepreneur, at $400 million.
