Glastonbury: Piers Morgan defends Sir Paul McCartney in criticism of The Beatles

Piers Morgan rushed to Sir Paul McCartney’s defense after complaining that the singer did not play the Beatles song well at the headline in Glastonbury.

Sir Paul, 80, made history last night and became the oldest person to headline the Somerset Music Festival. Bruce Springsteen and Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl joined the stage as a special guest, and he certainly delivered an interesting set.

However, some viewers feel that Sir Paul hasn’t played enough songs from the Beatles’ iconic back catalog, so it doesn’t seem to be satisfactory.

Well, 56-year-old Piers didn’t have it, so he immediately posted the critics on social media.

“Twitter’s moaning Macca” wasn’t enough Beatles hits, “” the uncensored host said.

Glastonbury continues today with George Ezra and Jack White’s surprise set and Kendrick Lamar’s final headline performance to conclude this year’s festival.
