TJ Holmes and Amy Robach are about to leave Good Morning America after the details of their “affair” come to light, it is alleged.
The news anchors made headlines in December back then photos were published of them looking cozy in New Yorkdespite both being married to other people.
As a result, they were immediately taken off the air pending an internal investigationwhich is still going on.
However, it has now been reported that the pair will be leaving the program – although no official statement has been made.
According to Page sixsaid an insider, “They’re not done with the mediation yet – but yes, that will be the conclusion.”
It is believed the co-stars have not yet signed any contracts, but an exit deal is in the works and they will reportedly both receive payouts, following an “extremely contentious” mediation.
Holmes and Robach began working together as GMA3 co-hosts in 2020, and the program showcased their jovial friendship.
However, they made headlines late last year when they were pictured watching closely over a drink in New York.
Other photos showed them holding hands in the back of a taxi and during a low-key outing.
They were both immediately removed from Good Morning America while a thorough investigation took place behind the scenes.
“Both TJ and Amy are trying to keep a low profile and let the dust settle,” a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
“It is still unclear whether disciplinary action can be taken, but for now both are keeping a low profile and trying to get on with their lives.”
While they haven’t yet spoken out about the photos, they were later seen flying off together and kissing in Miami during the Christmas holidays.
Holmes too filed for divorce from wife Marilee Fiebig – whom he married in 2010 and with whom he shares daughter Sabine.
