Google Pixel 6a listed on Best Buy’s website before release

In anticipation of the Google Pixel 6a set to hit stores next month, US retailer Best Buy already has a listing for the budget-focused Pixel on its website as “Coming Soon.” The listing doesn’t reveal anything we didn’t already know, the Google Pixel 6a was fully unveiled at Google I/O last month and will retail for $449 in the US.

The Pixel 6a will be available in Chalk (white), Sage (green) and Charcoal (black). All images shown on Best Buy’s website are from the same set of renders we saw leaked recently by @evleaks† Best Buy listed two SKUs: one unlocked and the other a Verizon model.

The Google Pixel 6a will be the entry-level Pixel offering this year, powered by Google’s Tensor chipset. There’s a 12.2MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-shooter along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The 4,410 mAh battery supports 18W fast charging and there is a single storage variant of 128 GB with 6 GB of RAM. Finally, the Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch OLED display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Google Pixel 6a pre-orders will begin on July 21, and general availability will begin on July 28.
