Google TV can quickly get rid of pain from your streaming app settings

Setting up a Google TV device is usually a very simple process, as you log in to your Google account, install your favorite apps, and sign in to your desired streaming service. However, it turns out that Google may be working on a more seamless process for the latter two options.

9to5Google Dive into the latest version of the Google TV Setup app, find a reference to Google using the list of connected subscriptions, install the app automatically, and then sign in.

The excerpt looks like this:

Some apps come with your TV and are installed during setup:% 1 $ s. In addition, an app for your subscription will be installed.

The app information on the device linked to your Google account is used to set up and log in to these apps on your TV.

In other words, it seems that Google could pull these from the connected device (eg your phone). This may make the setup process on Google TV devices more seamless and allow you to automatically download and sign in to Netflix, Disney Plus, and other streaming services.

However, Google isn’t the only one to simplify the app setup process. Amazon’s Fire TV platform provides a single sign-on feature that allows you to sign in to your cable account once and then grant access to various related standalone apps. Apple and Amazon also offer video channel capabilities, providing a more seamless payment and setup process for third-party streaming services on Apple TV and Fire TV devices, respectively.
