Epic Games announced that Fortnite Festival Season 5 (the music world of the shooter game Fortnite) will feature Grammy winner Carol G.
Fresh off her historic stadium world tour, global pop culture giant Karol G is the new icon for the season. With her electrifying spirit of empowerment and superstar talent as a singer-songwriter, Karol G has broken through the boundaries of genre and culture to achieve crossover success and international recognition.
Karol G will also headline an in-game concert experience from August 23rd to August 26th in Fortnite. This is sort of Epic Games' take on the metaverse, with a focus on music fans.
Originally from Colombia, Karol G has won numerous awards, including a Grammy, five Latin Grammy Awards (including Album of the Year), four Billboard Music Awards, and Billboard's 2024 Woman of the Year Award.
