Bella Mackie, 31, is a freelance journalist from London who previously wrote for VICE and The Guardian. She left Vice in 2017 to focus on writing a book on running and mental health.
Her father is the journalist Alan Rusbridger who was the editor-in-chief of The Guardian from 1995-2015. Bella chose the name Mackie to differentiate herself from her family name.
Greg and Bella got engaged in 2018 – with Bella asking the question – and married in September 2018.

Greg announced the happy news that the couple got married that same month on social media.
