HAPPY Valley star Rhys Connah would love to star in a spin-off series centered on his character.
The 16-year-old actor, who has played Ryan Cawood on the hit BBC1 crime drama since 2014thinks creator Sally Wainwright could write a story where he becomes a cop or murderer.
Rhys played the son of Sarah LancashireSergeant Catherine Cawood and assassin friend Tommy Lee Royce, played by James Norton.
He said: “If I was asked to do a spin-off, I definitely would.
“The most popular idea is that I play a police officer, but a murderer can also happen.
“Sally can write anything. I don’t really care what I play. I like acting. I’d like to do something.
Speak at the gala night before Meatloaf musical Bat Out Of Hell in London last week, Rhys revealed that he is now constantly being recognized in public.
He said: “The craziest thing was that I was recognised Greggs.
“I didn’t get any freebies, though. I was gutted.”
The Happy valley finale attracted 7.5 million viewers.
And many fans online are now calling for a comeback.
