On Thursday, Netflix has released a preview trailer for “Meghan & Harry,” the streaming platform’s “unprecedented” take on the couple’s relationship.

The streaming giant then continued that the docuseries will look at “the scope of their relationship, from the early days of the couple’s courtship to the challenges and controversies that led them to step back from the royal family.”

It added: “The series features interviews with family and friends who have never spoken publicly about the couple’s relationship before, as well as historians and journalists who dissect how the media has portrayed Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royal family and have influenced the Commonwealth at large.”

But ahead of the new look at the “other side” of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s evolution, resurfaced stories have claimed that one of Prince Harry’s oldest friends “questioned” the pace of the relationship and was subsequently sidelined at the royal wedding.

Ahead of the royal wedding, Prince Harry’s childhood friend, Tom “Skippy” Inskip, is said to have suggested that the Duke should spend time with Meghan before “doing something more serious”.

Mr Inskip and his wife, Lara, were then reportedly “punished” for being barred from the post-wedding reception, the 2020 biography claimed.

In the trailer for the Netflix docuseries, Prince Harry can be heard saying that “nobody sees what goes on behind closed doors”.

He then adds, “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
